KGV florins in mint state are generally difficult to come by, the toughest of them all is not the 1932 or 1915 plain as is commonly thought, it is the 1914 Heaton. The golden patina with light blue and green peripheral highlights of this example are breathtaking in the hand. One of the finest surviving examples of the KEY date in the florin series.
